May 9th was such a special day when I met you at the bridge to walk with you back to our home! A great visit with tea and parrots and an even nicer evening sharing dinner amongst new friends! I'll follow you over the mountains :)

What a great adventure! I am looking forward to following your progress this summer on the trail. Best of luck!
missed you in North Bay, but if you need to get to Moosonee, I used to live there, and have lots of friends who would love to host you.
Hello Dana,
I'm glad you enjoyed your visit to our little community along the Trans Canada Highway.
Hi Dana
All good wishes on another season of the Great Hike!
Was on Van Island last week. You are going to love the TCT in the Cowichan Valley and the Historic Kinso Trestle.
The TCT Gang are all cheering for you.
Hope to see you soon.

Dana, Not sure if you left yet, but it really was a true pleasure to meet you! I hope you write about it in your book because it's a story that should be shared. Of all of the places and people for you to run into.....wow meant to be! lol I'm sure that this experience has a meaning or lesson that I should learn, when it comes to me I will let you know. When passing through wawa, dubrielville and white river if you meet any jacques or tangies "they're family". If your ever in Ojibway country again stop in and see us. Safe and Happy Travels Wanderer. Keep in touch.
Dana, nice to meet you the side of the road the other day. Good luck with your great adventure. I had so much more energy after hearing your story! Best wishes, good luck and take care of yourself out there.
Hi Dana:
Met you at Katharine Cove last Tuesday. Really appreciated hearing about your project. Have fun and I will check your website periodically and when I wish I were in Canada.

Dana,
Our crew met you at Woody's in Wawa on Canada Day. Good to hear about your adventures. Our fishing trip went great. Best of luck on your future travels!
We are proud to have met a True Canadian with a dream. Our explorers of the past would be proud as well...to hike our vast & beautiful country via the Trans Canada Trail is a journey that only special people could endure and Dana...you are special. Thanks for stumbling upon us and we will follow you with pride. Your new friends at Camp Michi-Wawa, Ken & Luanne
Dana Sorry that you didn't have a chance to stop in to see us in Orillia before beginning this year's hike. Enjoyed meeting you and wish you well especially in the heat! Will think of you tonight as I watch the "Cat Fight" - CFL Hamilton in BC.
Sorry that you didn't have a chance to visit us in Orillia before setting out again this year. Take care on the trail especially in this heat wave. I'll be thinking of you tonight as I watch the "Cat Fight" CFL Friday night football - Hamilton @BC. May the Cats win (guess which ones).
Hey Dana - hope that you are enjoying cooler weather. Glad taht you are finding good hospitality along the way too. It was a ferocious "cat fight" the other night but the stripes prevailed, 39-31. Sorry for BC - maybe get a win next week. Happy hiking (Apologize for the previous comment ending up here 2x)
Hello Dana! It was great meeting you on the TransCanada earlier this week. We're the two old guys riding recumbent trikes around Superior. Good luck in your future trekking!

I am glad you are following your dream and enjoying it and also sharing it with Canada. It is a long way from when we young and wild.Anyways i will continue to follow your fantastic journey. Be safe and take care.
Met you at Player's in Thunder Bay!! Hope you have a great Journey!!! <3
Hi Dana, great journey you're on. All the best with it.
I'm writing a short piece on the trail and would love to include you in it if I may?
If you are able to contact me at Hannah@biciklo.com that would great.
The trail hasn't been 100% completed yet so how are you making your way around those unfinished sections? I hear those sections are incomplete due to the challenging terrain.
When are you hoping to hike the northern and final coast?
All the best to you!
Hannah
Hey Dana! It was a pleasure meeting you today. Best of luck my friend.

Being as you are doing this alone, without a whole support system, you, therefore, are one of the TRUE "Coureur des bois"....a very noble group of adventurous Canadians.

Success to you, fellow lover of the woods.
Hi Dana, I saw you walking past Inverness Falls at Brereton Lake Whiteshell in mid October when it was rainy/misty. Must have been pretty chilly for you that week!! Keep on truckin'!
